What to Expect

An immersive experience that blends ritual, somatics, and expert integration to guide you through a deep and focused expansion. We offer uncompromising safety: thorough screening, trauma-informed facilitation, and a clear, structured container from preparation through post-retreat integration.

Each intensive is hosted in the beautiful mountain town of San José del Pacífico, Oaxaca, MX. The result is a safe sanctuary where you can go deep, reconnect to yourself, and return home an expanded human, ready to continue life as a more expanded being, well rested, connected with like-minded humans and ready to go back to a life of healing and helping others.

Pricing of retreat is only $4500! It includes the following:

  • 5-night, 4-day stay at Cabañas Temazcal Teteo Innan

  • Transportation from and to the airport

  • Temazcal

  • Food

  • Medicine Journey

  • Two post-journey Integration sessions

A gentle pause from the pace of everyday life of helping others. Embodied Expansion is a retreat designed for first responders and other helping professions who are ready and willing to dive deeply, slow down, reconnect, and return to a more expanded version of yourself—through guided mazatec medicine ceremony, restorative space, and time to simply be. Space limited for 8-10 participants.

Day One

Arrive & Meet

As everyone arrives, we take time to settle in, get comfortable, and begin connecting with those around us. The journey starts here.

  • Arrive at Oaxaca International Airport (OAX) [Flight not included in price of retreat]

  • Take time to settle in and get acquainted with the facilitators and the others in the group over a nice dinner. 

Day Two

Set Intentions & Temazcal

Together, we pause to consider our goals, hopes, and direction. This is about aligning with ourselves and with the journey ahead. This is a chance to reconnect with what brought you here—your questions, your hopes, your turning points—and consider how they’ve shifted or deepened. It is your opportunity to think through where, how and why you would like to Expand.

Once we get an opportunity to clarify our intentions, we step into the Temazcal– a low-heat sauna– for relaxation and cleansing that will further prepare the group for the medicine on Day Three, and allow all to connect on a profound level.

Day Three

Ancestral Journey & reflection

Be ready to experience deep and supported emotional healing, spiritual reconnection, expansion of the mind and meaningful integration with fellow spiritual beings, through ancient Mazatec ceremony.

Explore the intentions you set the day before and expand your mind and body to the messages and insights the medicine has for you. 

Day Four

Integration & Connection

Engage in our integration workshop, consisting of a meditation hike, journaling, and creating to aid in processing and embodiment of your journey.

A space to share your journey and begin to gather insights and realizations. You will be learning grounding practices to help you return to “The Real World”.

An exciting full moon ceremony and dance before the night ends.

Day Five

Look Forward & Wrap Up

We explore the possibilities beyond this moment, making space for growth, action, and forward momentum. As we end our time together, we honor the experience, the growth, and the connections made along the way.

Look forward to two integration sessions to follow retreat. Both will be group integration sessions. If you would like to continue with individual integration sessions with Darling, you may set those up for an additional cost. 

How It Works:

  • Sign up and pay all required fees to reserve your spot. If plans change, you can cancel up to 14 days before the retreat start to receive a 50% refund.

  • After booking, we'll send you a Welcome Packet with everything you need to know—detailed schedules, packing list recommendations, add-ons to consider, and more.

  • We'd recommend booking your transportation to and from the event as soon as possible, to ensure you can arrive without any complications or delays.

    Flight is not included in retreat price. (Group shuttle from airport to Teteo Innan and back, is included in retreat price so no need to worry about that).

  • Now all that's left to do is pack your bags and get excited for your new adventure.
